The Powder Alliance is proud to announce the addition of its 2nd Colorado Resort, Ski Cooper, located just a short drive away from Summit County and the Eagle County / Vail areas.

Perched high in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Ski Cooper is different in all the right ways with a laid-back atmosphere, family-friendly vibes, and terrific food & drink.

Opening in 1942, the resort is one of the oldest in the state, originally serving as a World War II training site for the 10th Mountain Division, based at nearby Camp Hale.

Today Ski Cooper boasts 64 trails, 5 lifts, and terrain for every age and ability including gladed tree runs, ungroomed moguls, and deep powder stashes. With a top elevation of 11,700, Ski Cooper offers some of the lightest, driest snow you’ve ever experienced with runs up to 1.4 miles long.

Dining options at the resort include Katie O’Rourke’s Irish Pub, Base Camp Cafe, Timberline Taproom, and the Ridgeview Cafe. Equipment rentals and lessons are also available.

Ski Cooper is the very essence of an authentic skiing in the heart of the Rockies and now guests with a season pass to any Powder Alliance resort get three (3) FREE days at this historic area.
