“We just made your winter road trip even better with the addition of this amazing Wyoming mountain.  Snow King has the powder to impress without the hustle & bustle of other major resorts.”

John McColly, Powder Alliance

Established in 1936 Snow King is Jackson Hole’s original ski area and the first in Wyoming. Locals sometimes refer to Snow King as “The Town Hill,” with skiing, hiking, North America’s Steepest Zip Line, and many other attractions. There’s nothing “residential” about this mountain though. Snow King offers 1,571ft of vertical with plenty of upper-level terrain and great new beginner-intermediate terrain introduced in 2022.  With the new Snow King Gondola, guests can travel up the hill in just a few minutes to enjoy amazing views and all the awesome skiing and boarding terrain the King has to offer.

With a top elevation of 7,808ft, Snow King packs a punch with trails up to a mile long. Their average operating season is December through late March. To learn more about Snow King Mountain, visit their website at https://snowkingmountain.com/

51 FREE days at some of the best resorts in the West makes for a great value…and a great winter road trip.  As a Powder Alliance member, you are free to ski about the Western United States, Canada, and Japan finding the best snow conditions & limitless vertical. There are no membership fees, no collective pass prices, and no additional charges of any kind.  Simply show an anytime 2022/23 season pass from any participating Powder Alliance area and receive free skiing benefits at all the rest.  Go explore 3,000 vertical feet at Marmot Basin in Alberta Canada, dive deep into 400 inches of fresh snow annually at Loveland, CO, or ski into May at Timberline in Oregon.  These benefits are FREE to full, anytime season pass holders at participating Powder Alliance resorts.
