Established in 1938, Lost Trail is one of Montana’s original ski resorts spanning 1,800 acres along the Montana-Idaho border. It has a top elevation of 8,200’, 1,800’ vertical and receives more than 300” of fresh snow annually. Lost trail is off the beaten path but the terrain is ripe for discovery. It has playful terrain for the whole family plus steeps and chutes that are easy to reach. Its longest run is 1.2 miles with plenty of powder pillows and cliff lines along the way. Open Thursday – Monday only, the powder piles up during the week giving Thursday and Friday skiers a special treat before the weekend.
